Few exercises recruit as many muscles as Phase 6

Squats are the biggest driver of cardiovascular capacity and muscle building in the workout. That’s why I never cut short a squat.

Legs, butt, core & lower back

Squats primarily work your legs (quadriceps, hamstrings, calves), then your butt (glutes), but also your abdominal muscles (core) and lower back.

Driving growth and fitness

Squats engage more muscle which requires more oxygen and creates more stress on your physiology. They make a big ask of you and drive bigger change in your body compositon.

Watch the video to discover how to succeed with squats!

Remember, my workout is designed to work many muscles in your body at once. The squat may be king, but the other phases aren’t far behind. It’s why you get so out of puff after only a couple of cycles!

We want to build muscle and cardio-vascular fitness to help ourselves live life to the fullest, for longer. There’s increasing scientific evidence that skeletal muscle is an engine of longevity and essential for avoiding, fighting and surviving major older-age illnesses. If you’re paying into a pension, give yourself the best chance of enjoying that retirement: make regular tough “investments” in this workout too!
